Lucie Davis is a multi-award winning designer, artist and creative. After graduating with a first class B.A honours degree in jewellery design at Central Saint Martins in 2016 Lucie worked as a Designer in residence for Tiffany & Co. in New York. She then went on to work as a full-time creative in advertising for Ogilvy U.K. Lucie now works as a freelance creative consultant for many brands whilst also establishing herself as an artist.

As part of her graduate collection at Central Saint Martins 2016, Lucie’s ‘Oyster card nails with RFID chip’ design (which allowed you to literally ‘touch in and out’ on the tube) went viral and attracted attention from press all over the world. She works independently but also enjoys working collaboratively.  In 2015, her work won the Freedom at Topshop X CSM Student Collaboration Competition, and her winning designs were sold online and in stores as an exclusive range of jewellery for the brand. She also has numerous awards to her name, including the prestigious MullenLowe 'YOUR NOVA' Award for Fresh creative talent, the Swarovski Design Project X CSM student collaboration Award and the Theo Fennell Prize for overall best graduate jewellery collection at Central Saint Martins of that year.

Challenging conventions of jewellery, Lucie’s work aims to bring a bit of magic to our everyday lives. Her pieces create entertaining collisions between nail art and travelling by Tube, washing up and instant rings, or point-of-sale stickers and fine enamelled brooches. Although seemingly light-hearted, her graphic and punchy pieces’ reconsider value in their materiality and use, offering the wearer or viewer an active role in interaction and interpretation.

By connecting art, design, fashion, illustration, public experience and digital technology, her work is able to reach out to a wider audience in new and surprising ways.
